About Us

We Made What Didn't Exist

DHAKALANE was started by Samiha, a Bangladeshi-American diaspora kid from NewYork who looked for clothing that represented where they came from — and came up empty.

Most brands said nothing about who you are or where you're from. So we built something that did.

Where We Started

Born from the vibrant, unapologetic energy of Dhaka, DHAKALANE is more than an apparel brand — it's a physical tribute to the streets that raised us.

Every piece we create carries the pulse of a city defined by its resilience, its color, and its deep, unspoken nostalgia. We wanted to capture that connection to our roots and turn it into something you could actually hold — a quiet but powerful reminder of exactly where you come from and who you are.

How We Build

We believe representing your heritage deserves a canvas worthy of the message.

That's why every DHAKALANE tee is cut from 220 GSM heavyweight cotton — substantial, structured, and built to last. Oversized fits. Considered graphics. Finished with attention to every detail.

We don't just print designs. We curate authentic streetwear that honors the art and soul of Bangladesh.

Made in limited drops. Never mass produced.

Who This Is For

DHAKALANE is for those who want to stay fiercely connected to their story — and to a community much bigger than themselves.

For the ones who carry their culture with pride. For the ones who never forget where they started. No matter where life takes you across the globe, this is a piece of your way back home.

When you put on DHAKALANE, you don't just wear a brand.

You wear your history. You wear belonging.
